Dmitri Teperik briefed European emergency practitioners on Ukraine’s resilience

“Resilient Ukraine” programme director contributed to the community of practitioners’ workshop held within the EU-funded project ENGAGE that analyses European societies in risk awareness to enhance their most powerful resource.

Additionally, Dmitri Teperik presented research insights during the conference panel entitled “Considerations related to the war in Ukraine”. The event took place in Marseille, France within the annual conference of the European Emergency Number Association. In his speech, Dmitri Teperik focused on both strengths and weaknesses of community resilience in Ukraine. 

He empathised the increasing value of Ukraine’s experience to the security and safety practitioners in Europe: “Ukraine now is an actual successful example of resilience at various levels: locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. As experts and practitioners, we should analyse and learn their lessons”.
